QuestGates group today announces it has further strengthened its position in the legal sector with the latest additions to its QGLaw business. We are delighted to welcome two leading professionals, both joining as Partners, who will significantly enhance our recovery and subrogation services for clients.

Andrew Millen, Partner, QGLaw

Andrew Millen has led the Recoveries Pillar as an Equity Partner at a leading insurance law firm for the last 10 years and brings to QGLaw a wealth of experience. Andrew brings with him a team who act for and are supported by a wide range of insurers, MGAs and corporate clients in relation to the recovery of insured and uninsured losses arising out of motor, household and commercial property disputes.

Andrew has 25 years’ experience as a personal injury lawyer and has extensive experience in handling large loss and catastrophic injury claims arising from motor, employer’s and public liability accidents on both a first- and third-party basis. Andrew developed and led the injury intervention team at his previous firm.

Duncan Smith, Partner, QGLaw

Duncan Smith was formerly a member of the Large Loss Team at DAC Beachcroft and was responsible for large loss, policy coverage and defending incoming claims.

Latterly Duncan led a team specialising in large loss matters, policy coverage and defendant work and since his arrival at QGLaw, he has been an integral part of its successful development and innovation.
